Established in the 1890s our family owned, family run florist shop specialises in making our customers happy by creating the freshest of floral arrangements & displays, whatever you choose.

A little bit about me and my Floristry Journey....

I began my floristry journey just after the first lockdown, moving straight from sixth form into an apprenticeship with a florist in Sheffield. During this time, I studied for my floristry qualification at The Floristry School Sheffield. This enabled me to take part in The World Skills Heats, Floristry competition in 2022. Midway through my apprenticeship, I changed shops so I could complete my qualification and gain more hands-on experience.

That's when my passion for floristry truly grew — I was able to work on a variety of arrangements, from everyday bouquets to weddings, funerals, and special events, alongside some wonderful colleagues.

However, I soon realised I wanted to take the next step in my career, challenge myself, and have more independence within the floristry world. This led me to join Flints Florist, where I now work as the florist.

Since joining Flints, I've also gained a lovely companion — Boone, my little rescue dog from Romania. Boone has become the beloved "florist dog," always by my side in the shop. He brings joy to our customers, offering comfort during difficult times, especially when they're ordering farewell flowers for loved ones.
